the light weight hyper-parabolic roof section is hand lifted onto the reinforced concrete posts before the painted on acrylic cement mixture is applied. 

'bwa chen' planks mounted on an open facade allow natural light & fresh air to travel through the building, while a interior bug screen controls bug intrusion.  

Inside medical room, white walls and ceiling improve lighting and add sense of cleanliness.  The undulating form of the hyper-parabolic roof is exposed to create areas for light and air to come inside.  

The finished building includes guest quarters for visiting doctors with full plumbing and electrical fixtures.  This building provides 20,000 Haitians with local healthcare that was never available before.
